Dr Jenkins wasn't specifically the problem, but she couldn't get us scheduled, we were frequently bumped, and eventually we had to see her husband (who doesn't work with small kids) and then her colleague, who pressured us into NO2 and then kept us waiting for 40 min. My daughter who had slight anxiety (which is why we came to Jenkins) was then threatened (which was the reason she had anxiety to begin with) when we left appt because they said they would have to sedate her, Jenkins refused to see us. My daughter who had a cavity was put off numerous times, so after a year of not getting seen, we are now having to shop for a new dentist. We are back to square one with her anxiety, all because Dr ROBERTSON is unfit to handle anxiety without drugging a child. Dr Jenkins was fine, except that she is highly unavailable. I was bumped 6 times in 2 years, and then instead of handling the situation with care, they were militant. This seems to be the new rule when it comes to pediatric dentists. I may have to find an old school dentist who knows how to treat children with kindness and respect. I was never afraid of the dentist, and neither should my child. Perhaps some parents are ok with drugs and threats, but I am not.
