While this office is comfortable and Dr. Plaisance is very kind, the office staff, Yvette in particular, is not up front about cost and your portion with regards to insurance. My insurance pays 80% for in network. Yvette told me that they would accept payment just like an in network dentist(he is out of network for me). She encouraged me to establish myself and my family as new patients, which we did. After the insurance paid their portion, I was stuck with a bill for 50% if the services. I didnt worry because I just knew it was a mistake. I called Yvette, she confirmed that I did indeed owe that amount. She said"Well, we did accept the insurance payment".
Yvette intentionally mislead me. I spoke with a family member and a friend with whom I work who also recently switched to Dr. Plaisance and they had the same experience.
Excellent dentist, very poor and misleading front desk.
