Found out on Dec 16, 2004 that I needed a root canal done on a lower molar. Due to scheduling problems (holiday), I had to schedule my appointment on January 3, 2005. I was nervous and full of anxiety during the two week wait up to the appointment since I had only heard the worst about the root canal procedure. I was chicken and affraid of any pain and discomfort while the root canal was being performed.
Well I was wrong. Dr. Nardi and his staff put me at easy during the whole process. And I never once felt any discomfort or pain.
I was truly amazed at how simple and painfree the procedure was. Not much drilling was involved. Just a small hole in the tooth. Most of the procedure was cleaning the canals ( 4 of them) out and capping them.
I asked Dr Nardi to lay it on me with the novacain (?) and he did as I requested. Although this may be standard proceedure.
After all was said and done , I have to say this ended up being a very pleasant trip to the Endodontist and I highly recommend Dr. Nardi's service to those needing a specialist in this area.
My only recommendation- hang a tv set from the ceiling in the endo room so patients can watch tv while the process is being done. It may help to take the edge off.
