Dr. Kaplan is very competent, but his chair-side manner is very cold and insensitive. He treats your teeth but not you as a person. When I was anxious and upset and asked him to wait, he left the room for awhile. When he returned he continued to work on my teeth and never asked how I was feeling. I am switching dentists.
His office staff are very warm and friendly women. The hygenists are also warm and friendly, which is why I stuck with his practice for a long time. He even posts a sign bragging about his warm manner, but has never asked me anything about my life, my family, how I am as a person.
About Hygienist: Alison is wonderful, very thorough, personable, clean.
