I went to have a broken crown repaired. Office was freezing. They did a build up for new crown.Told I also needed deep cleaning. Went to check out, paid them $849 and was told I needed appointment for Xrays, regular cleaning, & exam. When I told her the dentist said deep cleaning, she got VERY sharp with me and said she could only make a appointment for that. I had people behind me so I made the appointment. Should have had it out there, gotten a refund and only paid for that day's treatment. When I got home I cancelled my future appointment. When a person has deep cleaning, then DON'T need regular cleaning. When I wrote and asked for a refund, they refused a full refund for the permanent crown. According to the breakdown of their bill, and in accordance with the services listed on their web page, my refund was $190 short of what it should have been. They say the $190 difference is for costs. There are NO costs associated with work not performed. I'd like to see them find a billing code for "costs". They engaged in deceptive practices in my opinion trying to book a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning. The rudeness of the girl who checked me out was inappropriate. I have since found a wonderful dentist at Pinebrook Dental
