To ALL people with Sleep Apnea:
Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about 12 years ago. I am a very typical story where I tried the CPAP machine but could not tolerate it. I even did an extra sleep study where they tried every mask known to man, and I pulled it off after falling asleep for a short time. I actually felt like I was suffocating.
One day while riding along in my car, a radio commercial came on for Dr. Daniella Sever in Quincy Massachusetts. I pulled over, found a pencil in my car and wrote down her number. After working with her office staff on getting my insurance to cover the appliance, I was fitted for a sleep apnea mouth guard. Since that time I have slept better, lost weight, become more active am able to concentrate at work and feel like a new person.
