I went to Dr. Christopher for about a year and a half with the hope of establishing a good relationship with an in-network dentist. The front office was very friendly and performed quite well where rescheduling and insurance were concerned. Additionally, I never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes to get in the chair. However, "The Chair", would be the right terminology when experiencing dental care here.
The first visit was a cleaning and although she seemed to be a little over-aggressive with the pick and I washed about a pint of blood out of my mouth, I decided not to worry about it. This happened a few more times before I started to look for a new dentist. Unfortunately I did not find one before she discovered a cavity. The simple procedure took an inordinate amount of time but more to the point I feel psychologically scared from the whole experience. Prepping me for the filling, she gored me 11 times in the gums with several needles.
I have broken a number of bones, been bitten by dogs, cut up by coral and almost had my thumb ripped off. Dental care at Dr. Christopher's office was by far more traumatic than any of the above.
Although she is a nice person, I would not recommend her for work in this field.
