Dr. Michael Clay owned a dental Clinic in Springfield. I have been a patient there for 8 years. With no warning or phone calls, he closed the clinic. Patients cannot get their files. I had extra money on the books which I will never see. An investigator with the Dept of Regulation in Chicago reached Dr. Clay, who was in Alabama at the time. He promised he would return my money and my files to me....no contact. They can't do much about this. So beware. I went there for 8 years and they had 11 dentists that came and went, were fired or walked. Check him out before you make him your dentist. I still have to file complaints with the Dept of regulation...but without my files, I can't prove how much money he kept of mine. Not as much of an issue as doors slammed and refusing to provide our files.
About Front Desk: Front staff changed about as often as the dentists that came and went. I only had two Hygienist during that period and they were both very good.
