Unethical billing practices. Charged secondary insurance first because they "had less red tap and paid more". This created a huge paperwork mess for me (request for divorce decree etc) Had two dental insurances for 5 years and had never paid out of pocket and he requested a $100 "deposit" because even though we had 2 insurances, "they dont pay co-pays or deductibles". This dentist takes advantage of billing loopholes to keep your deposit. I should have known something was amiss when he came up to reception to defend explain his billing practices. They said she was due for a cleaning, I explained she just had a cleaning and they stated that she was due. One insurance paid for the cleaning, the other one didnt because she wasnt due, so I was responsible for the overages. I recommend you do not use this dentist based on his unethical billing practices.
