We paid more than twice the amount for a root canal done at his office than at another endodontist in the area. This all because when we asked the receptionist about Dr. Dellork accepting our insurance we were told simply "yes". We were not given the entire story. Yes, they accept the insurance however they do not accept our insurance "usual and customary" amount maximum and we therefore had to pay the difference. This amounted to $684.40 more in out of pocket expenses for us, a total paid less insurance was $1244.50 versus $560 at participating dentist. Plus he charges for each line item - our insurance company advised that they usually consider the oral exam and x-rays as part of the root canal therapy. Nice guy but is he truly worth the cost!
