Dr. Campbell failed to diagnose a cracked tooth during two prior 6-month check-ups even though I kept telling him I believed there was a problem. This led to infection and many other health issues. Dr. Campbell finally took additional x-rays/steps to locate the bad tooth during the third 6-month check-up after I strongly insisted there was something wrong. Then, he sent my on my way without an antibiotic even though it was clearly obvious in the x-ray that infection was present. When I contacted Dr. Campbell's office to see about getting a prescription for an antibiotic, I was told he was on vacation. Needless to say, at this point I was disgusted. I insisted the receptionist get a hold of Dr. Campbell or someone else because I was tired of being in pain and didn't want to suffer more because he didn't do his job correctly in the first place. She finally did get a hold of the Dr. and a prescription was phoned into the pharmacy. However, she was sure to berate me for being "a bad patient." (Not too much patient empathy there.) Discovery of the cracked tooth led to an extraction because the tooth had over time cracked down through the root and couldn't be saved. Terrible patient treatment by Dr. Campbell and his office staff.
