I went to Dr. Jove with an abcess to evaluate whether or not the tooth was salvagable and do a root canal if it was. He was very empathetic, knowledgeable and thorough despite the fact he was very busy and it was the week before the holidays. The tooth was not salvagable so I didn't have a root canal, but he opened it to relieve pain and reduce infection so it heals better when I get it out. He also advised on antibiotics, and seems an overall honest nice guy and very competent. His prices for root canals are not the most expensive in the NYC area but not cheap either. However if you have a real problem you feel more confident going to a conscientious skilled specialist like Dr. Jove.
