I'm near 60, and have had lifelong dental troubles, no fluoride in the water when I was a kidster. I've really seen a lot of ham-handed, impatient, thoughtless dentists in my time. You know the type. I've endured a great deal of unnecessary pain.
Dr. Killian's sign should say "We cater to cowards!" Liberal use of anaesthetic, plus generous use of nitrous if you ask, and all the pain meds you might need afterward. This guy "gets it", I'd rate him a solid ten for empathy and compassion. He's done a lot of work for my wife and I. Gentle, virtually painless, excellent work. The entire staff, both chairside and office, matches the doctor's care and kindness.
This, then, is the -only- dentist that's ever earned my trust. I'd recommend Dr. Dennis Killian to everyone, especially those who fear dentists in general, or have previously had bad experiences.
About Hygienist: I've seen three different hygienists at Dr. Killian's office. Each of them have been very competent, gentle, and thorough, and leave me feeling like I got new teef. ;)
