I went there with a fear of dentists bordering on phobia. I had deep cavities around cracked metal fillings in all of my molars, and needed a root canal in one. I had crumbling porcelain fillings on all my front top teeth. I had one 15yr old cracked veneer on a front tooth, with the tooth turning brown around it. Dr. Postol made his recommendations and was willing to move at the pace that I and my insurance could afford. Beginning with my worst pain, the root canal, the entire office staff worked to relieve my fears. Gas, novocain (actually an analgesic cocktail) good humor and compassion made this the most stress free dental experience I'd had up until this point. Dr. Postol read involuntary muscle twitches and could interpret when more numbing was due even before I even felt any pain! Well done! Subsequent visits were equally nice, I began to look forward to visits. In the last 16 months, since the root canal, Dr. Postol and his delightful staff have removed all of my metal fillings. I have crowns on all of my upper teeth, most recently the front six(that was an epic visit!)
It wasn't cheap even with insurance, but worth every penny and then some.
My smile is spectacular now. I'm no longer ashamed of my teeth.
