My family had used Dr. Miller for years and we were happy with him, his staff and treatment. Then we started noticing that every single time we visited him for normal cleanings, he recommended we schedule expensive treatments - just in case, so not to have an emergency in the future - that cost us thousands of dollars! The last such recommendation was for me and that was five years ago and I didnt do it and have had no problems - the decision not to proceed saved me over $1,800 above my insurance payments!
He recommended my youngest son have three fillings in his baby teeth. A 2nd opinion said that since the teeth were all very loose there was no need for fillings -
Every service price was more expensive than dental insurance would pay for; even preventative maintenance so we had to pay as well.
