Dr, Shanker has an excellent "chair side " manner that puts you at ease,He is a professional that makes you want to come back for a follow-up.I had a previous dentist that hurt me so bad, I was scared to go,,I am an adult and Dr,Sganker took away my fears,,,,
He also treataed my grandsons that had never been to a dentist and his asst, Joanne made my 9 and 11 yr. old grandsons feel safe in the chair,,,One of my boys started to cry and she put my other gr.son Jason in the chair and showed him how all the tools worked and gave him a mirror to watch what she was doing(He had his tooth chipped and they filed it down)
Both my grandsons had a pleasant not fearful visit and I am so pleased with Dr.Shanker and Joanne...
They have treated me for years and I do go in for my 6month cleaning and visits,,,
I have all my teeth and I am thrilled.
In this day and age, he is so patient and non threatening,,,anyone can have a great dental visit.
About Hygienist: Joanne, the best in the business..I actually photographed my grandson in her chair and he was so calm after she explained all the tools and let him see the results on his brother who was just fine with everything.
