I've been seeing Ed Lee for over ten years. I'm what you call a "problem patient" because of earlier nerve damage to my face. Once Ed realized I was wired differently, he just worked with it. He has always explained exactly what he was going to do and he always kept my pain down, whether it was during the procedure or after. He agrees that one can't heal if they're tearing their hair out from pain.
I had trouble with a couple of this assistants, but that's only because they wanted to soothe me by constantly patting me. I think it's admirable that his assistants try to help, I just personally don't like being touched during a procedure. I ~should~ say it's my problem, not theirs!
All in all Ed Lee and his office are pretty great. And he always has a really cool Corvette sitting outside of his office!
