I visited Dr. Applewhite for a routine 6 month cleaning. He stated that I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled. I trusted that he knew what he was doing, so I went ahead and had the routine procedure done. After a week, I was having a tremendous amount of pain & sensitivity to those 2 teeth. I returned only for him to tell me that he couldn't understand why I was having trouble. After another 3-4 weeks, I returned due to the high sensitivity & throbbing pain that I was having. He "re-did" one of the filling to see if that would help. After that procedure, my top lip was "paralyzed." My co-workers stated that it looked that I had a stroke. That lasted a full day. I am about to go see a new dentist tomorrow (a month later) due to the severe pain that I am having throughout my entire mouth. How I wish I never went to see Dr. Applewhite. As I have spoken with other acquaintances, I have heard similar stories about this dentist.
