Dr. Fowler did not find the cavity in the upper molar at the check up and I had to point him to it. It was a bad sign and I should have left his practice at that point. He also said he was an hour behind and asked me to reschedule. I decided to give him an opportunity to do the filling based on his all positive reviews and his years of experience. I was wrong. He looked at the x-ray and said that I had a root canal done at this tooth and did the filling. There was some problem with the band that the doctor placed on the tooth and he had to cut through the material between the teeth at the end of the procedure. Filling had an overhang. Immediately after the procedure I started to experience the pain in the tooth. It did not get better in 2 days and I came to get the filling redone. It turned out I did not have a root canal at this tooth. He redid the filling, but took out too much material at the end, so now I have a problem with the bite and have pain in premolars at top and bottom jaws. I also noticed my upper lip got infected with something like cold sores the morning after treatment. I am a lot worse now than I was when I came to his office for treatment.
