I asked for a porcelain crown but instead a porcelain & metal crown was placed. I was not given info up front about full porcelain vs porcelain & metal crown. I wondered why I had a dark line between my gum & tooth. Initially I thought it may be glue or something but it never went away. Six months later, when I came in for a cleaning, I asked the hygienist what the dark line was between my gum and tooth and she said it was metal. I say, "what? Metal? I asked for a porcelain crown so that I wouldn't have anything but a white looking tooth." Long story short, Dr Fielder clearly seemed upset that I was even asking about it. I did not get straight answers & he actually outright evaded the questions. He offered to change it to a full porcelain crown for no charge but I would have to start all over again and go through the whole process again! On top of that, get this, he was angrily & aggressively poking my cheeks with his two fingers while trying to explain himself out of his mistake while taking no responsibility for it. Furthermore, he does not wear gloves when he puts his hands in your mouth! Yuck!!! I finally had enough and walked out of the office & will not be back. What a disappointment!
