Very disappointed in my experience with him. He is a "Minimalist Doctor." and un-compassionate, and as he is explained, he is a "Gate-Keeper," MD to an under-resourced, under-staffed emergency room. He makes you feel guilty for asking for help and refuses to provide it unless he believes it is absolutely necessary. The problem is that his decision make me feel unsafe in the emergency room. As a chronic back pain sufferer, I did no go in seeking or ask for drugs. I merely injured my spine and asked for a routine MRI of my sacrum. This conservative, tightwad little-man-complex MD, refused any care for me as a disabled man. In fact, he discriminated against my chronic disability, claiming it was not acute, or justifiable enough need to authorize an MRI. I even asked for 2 tylenol which was not provided. I can not wait for the New Mountain Star Hospital to be built in the city of Washington. I am unable to recommend this ER Doctor, he reminds me of they type of doctor you would find in a "Late Night Urgent Care Clinic." Out of 5 stars I would only give him a 1/2 star if the system would allow it.
