he runs the operation like a business, rather than a medical practice, to the extent that his reception area is an art gallery of photos that he has taken that are for sale to his patients.
He additionally recently added the number of technicians in his employee without adding any additional dentists; he has at least six technicians, and the number may be as high as eight.
Further, it is a regular practice for Guldemond to have technicians do cleanings on days that he is not in the office; consequently many patients do not get the twice a year check ups to which their insurance entitles them and that good dental practice suggests.
I asked that he call me regarding a dispute; he did not return the call, and his receptionist confirmed that he would not.
