Bait and switch advertising. I found them in the Valpak coupons for an exam and cleaning. After setting an appointment and going there I found out the coupon was only good if I had no gum disease. To determine if I had gum disease, the dentist would have to do some testing that would require more money.
I also requested a cleaning by an experienced hygienist when I set the appointment with the receptionist. After I arrived and filled out the paper work, I was called in the back room and was told a NEW hygienist that graduated in MAY 2011 will be cleaning my teeth. When I expressed my discomfort in this NEW hygienist, Dr. Tim Riesz came in and simple told me the NEW hygienist was going to clean my teeth or I could go somewhere else......I went somewhere else.
Venice Village Dental lacks the experience and customer appreciation you would expect from a professional medical establishment. I left there feeling like "just a number" with a dollar sign attached to it.
