This is a review of events what my husband and I had to endure. Dr Wheeler pulled a bad tooth and during the procedure he negatively affected a neighboring good tooth. I returned to his office several days after the procedure complaining of pain and pointed out that neighboring good tooth was now loose. Dr Wheeler wouldn't help, stated things like this happen and directed me back to my primary dentist.
I got new Xray’s from my dentist after Dr Wheeler's procedure and it was determined my good tooth needed to be pulled because of damage done by Dr Wheeler’s pulling of my bad tooth. This was verified by before and after Xray’s.
Even after getting different dentist opinions, Dr Wheeler wouldn't admit to his mistake so I filed a case with DORA and small claims court to help recover costs. I did not succeed with my case due to complexities with proving "Medical Malpractice". As the little guy, I had no chance fighting the system and his attorneys.
