Dr. Yamaki and his staff are absolutely outstanding! I earnestly & whole-heartedly recommend him. I saw him at his Scarsdale location.
I researched his credentials, experience, patients reviews, and called his office prior to making a decision to see him. Literally, he is was by far the most qualified provider out of the entire list of specialists & general dentists under my insurance plan. Now, having been treated by him, I am even more impressed!
Prior to my first visit, his staff told me what my out of pocket expense would be. When I went in for my consultation Dr. Yamaki was very polite and professional and demonstrated genuine concern for my dental care. He patiently took the time to fully explain everything to me, including the reasoning behind his recommendations. He even went above & beyond to refer me to another specialist to address a need that I had outside of his direct scope of practice. He and his staff also worked with me on my insurance limitations in planning for my care.
When I came back for my root canal, he did an excellent job! His equipment and technology was modern, his office clean, and he and took sterile precautions. He has great chairside-manners and his skills are excellent - I left pain-free!
