In my opinion, Dr. Clements and his staff are extremely unprofessional and practice unethically. They don't just make recommendations, but rather do work on you without disclosing costs, then charge you for services even though you have insurance. They make sure to do services they know insurance doesn't cover and don't tell you until after they've done it. He also forces you to buy products from HIS office, like a $130 SonicCare & don't allow you--the patient--to refuse/buy yourself. We were told that if we bought on the outside, bring in to prove we bought, they would credit account, but when we took it in to show them, they then wanted to see my daughter use it or give him the upc label to my box before they would provide a refund on HIS. We felt "bullied" and they were basically unwilling to refund anything. Not to mention, our insurance said we should've only paid a 20% copay + $5 = $38 vs the $165 they charged on our 1st visit and even though they called my insurance to confirm this, the office refused to refund their overcharge because they don't have an updated document from the insurance company verifying what had just been verbally confirmed with them. Will never go back and don't recommend him to others
