Dr. Searcey was the most uncaring health professional I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I was having my wisdom teeth removed, & I asked many questions during the consultation, as I was concerned about the sedation interacting with my medication. He acted like he was in a hurry the whole time, brushing off my questions telling me everything would be fine. I also told him I have a high level of anxiety concerning dental procedures, he said the sedation would take care of that.
The day of the surgery, they gave me the IV, then he attempted to begin working before the medicine took any effect. He acted like he was in a huge hurry to get the procedure over with. I asked for the topical numbing before he gave me the novocaine shot, & he did not comply. Basically by the time he got the first tooth out, I was crying hysterically & hyperventilating. I tore the spacers our of my mouth & told him that he was either going to give me enough medicine to knock me out or we were done. He said he would be unable to finish the procedure because I was so aggressive & uncooperative.
His practice is all about getting patients in & out as quick as possible; I don't think he truly cares for the comfort or concerns of his patients at all.
About Front Desk: The receptionist was polite & helpful.
