i had been experiencing pain in my wisdom tooth and went for a diagnosis. however, i got confused and reached one day ahead of my appointment, but was put on schedule anyway. i was willing to wait because the pain was bad. i waited an hour before i was called in for the examination, i had to wait almost 15-20 minutes for the assistant to go and get dr.brent parker and in that interim no one came and attended to me. i was just waiting endlessly...now to the diagnosis. all he said was that apparently my wisdom tooth is touching a nerve and needs to be extracted but never said that in the meanwhile, before the surgery, if i need to take any medications and neither did he prescribe any painkillers till i asked him to. i also asked for an estimate for the surgery and cleaning to which he said "oh you've to call up so & so and we've to see this & that to give u a price according to what you need". the whole process lasted around 15 minutes and he disappeared after that & the assistant had to go to him to get me prescription pain killers which took another 10 minutes. i was very dissatisfied with the whole check up and went for a second opinion, which has been a great experience
