1) Dirty reception area, office, and rooms. It looked like I was walking into a inner-city dental clinic.
2) Rude, uneducated, and unhelpful staff. I sat in the waiting room for almost 30 mins before they asked "do you have an appt or something?"
3) If they call a cleaning just a few scrapes and floss here and there, I could save money and do it at home. Seemed as if the dentist just wanted to rush me out of there.
3) Cost: very inexpensive because it was covered under insurance. Probably the ONLY thing that was good because if I had to pay for this crappy service, I'd be even more irate.
4) Obatining records: Ovbiously, after this experience I changed providers almost IMMEDIATELY. First they gave me the run around about getting my records, then charged me $25 and took them more than 2 weeks to send it to my new provider. Second, the claimed that they took a complete set of xrays and when my records were finally received, the new office said I was missing TEN films (I smell insurance fraud). When I called about these missing films, they said "sorry, since you haven't been here in 6 mo. your files are in storage. We don't know what we did." That is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard.
My advice: DO NOT GO HERE!
