I had consultation with Dr. Adams which was covered 100% under my insurance and still paid $50 extra. Then I went for cleaning which my insurance paid $398 and I was suppose to pay $100 copay per my insurance policy. Well they charged me $148 in the office after the service was done; yet later they billed me another $45. SO for one cleaning, I ended up paying $293 out of pocket and also they charged Delta, my insurance. They get you a chunk at the visit and bill in in multiple times which sums up to another chunk. This service was just for cleaning done by his hygienist, can you imagine if he really had to do any work on me?
