excellent dentist; most professional i've ever had. he's not inexpensive, but hey, it's dentistry.
also, re: expense. i went to a dentist where my "discount card" applied. his appraisal of my needs was TWICE what dr avena chg'd for services i needed. at some point one must ask, "do i want to go to a professional who might be more expensive in the short run or EVEN more expensive in the long run?"
also, i rarely wait for longer than 5 minutes. dr avena's office & staff are nice and use modern technology.
warning -- DONT BE LATE! they run on time and expect their clients to do so as well. also, they email me my appt confirmations (love that).
About Hygienist: very good/nice. normal lecture about not flossing enough (ugh).
