I have been a patient of Dr. Fu's for 2 years. I just had temporary crowns put on and am now waiting 2 and 1/2 weeks for the permanent ones to come. In. During the initial proceduce, I was cut on the lip and upper chin twice. It took 5 days to heal. I still have pain in the area where my 2 crowns will eventually be. She did not seem remorseful in the least about my injury. I was upset, that the costs were not told to me up front. All I got in the mail was a letter saying my insurance would cover the procedure. I was upset at this and only agreed to pay half of what was owed until my crowns come in. She showed up late for the appointment. Rushed to give me novacaine, while she looked in on another patient. When she came back, she started to drill right away, not even asking if I was completely numb. I am not sure if I want her to be the dentist who puts on my crowns. When I asked about what money I would be discounted for my injury, I was met with sarcasm and contempt. I was told it was my responsibility to know how much the procedure would cost. I understand this. I know I was verbally abusive to them, because I had be cut. The office manager was late coming in. I deserve better treatment.
