Dr. Annunziata has a very reassuring manner. Unfortunately, the work he did was no good. After I had been his patient for 3 years, he extracted a tooth and replaced it with a bridge. Over the next 9 months, the bridge fell out 4 times. When he proposed to put the bridge back in for a 5th time, I refused. He then suggested an implant. He said I didn't need to see an oral surgeon because he could do it just as well. A month after he put in the implant I saw him for a follow up visit and I told him that it wobbled a lot and I could not chew on that side of my mouth. He told me all I needed to do was floss better. Flossing wasn't the problem. The implant fell out less than a year after he put it in. That's when I changed dentists. The new dentist referred me to an oral surgeon to replace the implant. The oral surgeon told me that Dr. Annunziata's implant was a mini implant and was not suitable for my situation. Also, Dr. Annunziata failed to notice that my jaw needed a bone graft. The oral surgeon cleaned up both those problems. AND, he did it for less money than Dr. Annunziata charged.
