I don't know what it is with this dentist. I am a diabetic that smoked for 30 years or more, so my teeth are pretty bad. They is a lot of bone loss and dental decay. I go to this dentist, and before they even do x-rays, they start cleaning my teeth. I said, I have large amounts of bone loss and dental decay, don't you want to see what you/we are up against before you start picking and cleaning my teeth. Of course, I don't have to tell you, there was a lot of pain. I have very little dental material to protect the core of my teeth, I mean, even cold water hurts my teeth, and they began with the tools. Didn't make sense to me. But anyway, as opposed to checking and recommending a treatment, this dentist suggest that they remove all my teeth and I should get dentures. Cosmetically my teeth are fine, some are loose, due to bone loss, two are decayed. I would think that there is another plan of action for my malady. But that's what they suggested. I believe that, If I had great insurance, they would be more likely to suggest another course of action. One that would be beneficial for both or us. But unfortunately, my insurance sucks, but they want that money too. So they recommend full extraction, cause that's what the insurance cover
