Stay away. Before my first visit, I called the office to make sure they took my insurance. Also called my insurance co. to confirm that I was covered for a porcelain crown. Yes to both. When I arrived Dr. Klein flew into a rage... they thought I was another patient with the same name. Told me I needed a root canal, that my insurance wouldn't pay, and actually told me how much she would charge me since insurance would not cover her time. Horrible cleaning, with her gouging me like a car mechanic jabbing under the hood. Worst experience ever. The good news... I went to my Manhattan dentist (paid out of pocket) but got another porcelain crown (he's done 2 already) from this competent pro. He looked at her write-up and called it amateur as well as completely wrong. I don't have gum disease, I didn't need a root canal, and he suggested I report her to NY Board of Health, since asking for cash on top of insurance copay is illegal. Even worse... the office staff is in on this. Refused to submit reports or x-rays to insurance company and lied to me about sending them. Stay away stay away stay away.
About Hygienist: Horrible. A nightmare. Zero.
I know this doctor: One visit was all I could take.
