I have had a root canal and two crowns as well as a filling. I came to Dr. McLanahan because my other dentist was making a mess of a root canal and I had been for THREE visits and the other guy was still digging around in the tooth . Within 10 minutes Dr McLanahan calmed my fears and then had me visit the specialist downstairs who finished it in literally 5 minutes. Dr McLanahan fitted the crown, and the following year fixed another back tooth that broke. His office staff and hygienists are caring, friendly and knowledgeable. He is affordable and does not recommend treatments that are not necessary (which annoyed me elsewhere). I have been to him now for 10 years and have only had one filling. My other dentists always "found" fillings, and now I think they did it to make money. Dr McLanahan is kind, professional and a GREAT dentist.

About Hygienist: This is a very clean dental practice, everyone is super nice and kind, and they really remember you and do everything to reduce stress. I have always been afraid of going to the dentist, but I do not mind going here. The hygienists are gentle and explain everything.
