I went to Dr Grant's office to have mercury fillings removed and refilled with porcelain. Dr Grant did the actual removal and refilling but Dr Grant chose to let his assistant Darwin do the bite adjustment. This is where the nightmare started. His assistant doesn't know a thing about dentistry. I was told that this assistant was a dentist in his native country but obviously there's a wide gap between US certification standards. I had the bite adjustment done 3 times and 2 of those times Dr Grant threw me at the mercy of the Darwin. After 3 attempts to adjust my bite I finally gave up and went to another dentist who was US certified and knew what he was doing. I had to live with intense pain, not being able to chew solid foods, once monthly my face would swell up on my right side, It took me nearly 6 months to seek another dentist because my confidence in any dentist was destroyed. One day I woke up at 2AM with the worst toothache of my life and my left side of my face was swollen to the extend that my left eye was almost shut. My wife took me immediately to the emergency room and I was told that my tooth was dying and that the maladjustment caused traumatic occlusal force on that tooth. I was told that if the antbiotic's don't bring the pain and swelling down I will need a root canal. I will never again go to Dr Grant's office. I blame Dr Grant because it was his sole decision to let the spanish butcher destroy my once perfect bite.
At the end it all comes down to greed.
