This is review on the practice not particular to Dr. Kaminsky since it is important to mention.The practice has grown and it is great to see this. However, that comes with a price. The people in the front desk are always in rush and do not take the time to explain the procedure, the cost, how much it would be out of pocket. I was rushed into doing a root canal, not by Dr. Kaminsky but another doctor on the same day, after I returned from having a filling done which bothered me. Even though I cannot complain about the procedure b/c Dr. Lipner, he was great making sure there was no pain, it is the way a patient is treated by their staff. I called in with pain a week 1/2 after the root canal and the voicemail (they were too busy) said they will return the call in 15 mins. Surely, not, the next day one of the girls in the staff called and ask to take motrin as she will not do a refill. Yet, I was promised I could get thru the doctor. It is sad to see how the practice cares more about grabbing the money for a procedure without really giving the patient the opportunity to be educated enough and rushed into procedures that are irreversible. Today I am still in pain. I notice less focus on the patience and more on the # of procedures.
