Had one visit for cleaning and checkup. Cleaning was excellent--done by an assistant (I think her name was Mindy), who was very pleasant and thorough. Dr. Rozenberg was also very pleasant.
However, I was taken aback by the recommendation of 4 porcelain fillings and/or crowns that would total over $5500, so I went for a second opinion. Meanwhile, Dr. Rozenberg's office submitted a pre-treatment estimate to my insurance company, who rejected it, saying the work (as documented) was unnecessary. They then submitted a much-reduced estimate (I don't remember all the details, but it was much less work and not using porcelain) that was approved, although it still would have required considerable out-of-pocket $$ on my part. My second-opinion dentist said none of the work was immediately necessary, although there were a couple of issues that should "have an eye kept on them" in future dentist visits. Of course, it's possible that the second dentist was wrong and Dr. Rozenberg was right, but with the information I had and the detailed explanation given to me by the second dentist, I made the decision to move on, despite a pleasant cleaning/checkup experience (except for the sticker shock) at Dr. Rozenberg's office.
