I've been going to Dr. Tuero for something like twenty years. He was recommended to me by the most skeptical, discerning person I know, who not only endorsed him as a kind of dental genius but as a genuinely good person. I've found him to be both those things. He did a cap job on my two front teeth that's a masterpiece (he can match color like an artist); no one would have a clue they're caps. He's a great communicator (former teacher), and has more genuine enthusiasm for his work than almost anyone I know. From having successfully recommended him in turn to many, many people, I know he's also a miracle-worker with kids, both out of kindness and because he knows the importance of having benign early dental experience. It's hard to believe someone this ethical and decent is still out there, practicing without any of the bells and whistles of self-promotion and just trusting to his reputation. Believe it. I've been lucky enough to have had reasonably good dental care most of my life, so I haven't confronted him with too many challenges. But if I knew someone whose mouth was a disaster, or who was terrified to go to the dentist, I would do anything to get that person into his hands. He's a prize.
