Visited this dentist Q3 and Q4 2012. Had a tooth pulled and a teeth whitening. Settled for money owed with the office manager at time of completion. I have dental insurance and a HSA plan, so payment is not an issue. Recently, I receive a phone call saying I owe 230 dollars from 2012! No that was not a typo, 2012! I got in contact with the business Manager, she stated, she remembered me but had no recollection of any money owed, but that she would look into her records. Fast forward two weeks, I speak with the manager and she states that I owed her 230 dollars because I didn't want to pay in calendar year 2012 and wanted to wait to 2013 and then never took care of my balance. Those words never came out of my mouth and are a flat out lie. In recollection of this Dentist office, the equipment was outdated, the dentist was pretty brutal and there was no way I would ever contract the dentist to do anymore work on my teeth. So with that said, In my opinion, this 230 dollar money grab is essentially a way to bring money into a struggling practice. They think folks will get a call and tie up the loose ends, just to get it out of the way. Problem is, I remember everything and I don't owe them a dollar. This post will stay up until I get word from Janet the business manager that the account is paid in full!
