Dr. Mukai is an extremely competent dentist. (Periodontics) His approach is casual, efficient, and very caring. He takes time to explain procedures to you without the feeling that you're being lectured to.
IEven though he doesn't honor my dental plan, it's worth spending the extra amount because I know he is instrumenal in making sure my teeth stay with me. I once read a sign in a dentist office which stated, "The only teeth you need to floss are the ones you want to keep." Dr. Mukai probably wrote that sign.
His staff is caring and attentive; an added bonus to his office is the nice floral arrangement (usually tropicals and orchids) on display.
Dr. Mukai is excellent.
