I first became alarmed when I looked at his schedule book and noticed the sporadic appointments. Still further I worried when he didn't tell me--like every other dentist in the world that I really needed to floss. But hey, I appreciated that my teeth didn't hurt after the cleaning (very sensitive) and that the office felt comfortable--unlike some dentists I've seen in the NY area. The clincher however is when he completed the first filling. It still hurts--every time I bite down and although I plan to go back and have him fix the problem, you only get one set of teeth. Why trust them to incompetence--or better yet, a lack of care? Not only this through our office discussions he defended poor dentistry, an instant red flag. He's a nice guy, but I think he's more preoccupied with his image than his work.
