The dental work itself was fine, and Dr. Ball seems to be a nice enough fellow, but please be warned that the front office staff may try and overbill you, so please get an estimate first BEFORE you go in for a procedure.
I didn't get an estimate, and after having some cavities filled, was quoted a payment figure by the person at the desk. I said fine, and was about to pay it, when she asked if that was the amount the estimate was for. I said that I didn't get one, and then she started backtracking, "Oh wait, you had blah, blah, blah fillings done, and so those cost more..." And she proceeded to charge me a higher rate than what she quoted earlier, which even though I was suspicious, I went ahead and paid in full.
Later, she sent me another bill by mail, claiming I owed more than the amount I paid, even though that was the full amount she had charged me at the time. Clearly, there was some dishonesty at work here. And later when I received a statement from my dental provider, I saw that she had indeed overcharged me. So please be warned, and get an estimate before you go in. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from going to this dentist, as I had no problems with the actual dental care, just be forewarned that you may be intentionally overbilled if you don't protect yourself.
