Have never been the nervous type at the denist; shots, root canals, etc. never bothered me. Dr. Hunter, however, gave me the worst experience in the chair I've ever had. First, she gave me WAY too much novacaine, to the point where I was shaking badly and had rapid heartbeat (have never reacted to novacaine like that before). As she was injecting, I was thinking that she was using too much, THEN I had the bad reaction. I had a filling put in a molar, so she shot me in the jaw. This was 2 weeks ago, and my jaw STILL hurts from the inordinate amount of probing she did with the needle. I'm hoping I don't have nerve damage. :( I'll never let her work on me again. FYI: A couple other dentists there were good, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Hunter's personality is half-heartedly friendly and just a little condescending.
About Front Desk: So far, the front desk staff has been friendly and helpful. Nice about scheduling and handles all insurance.
About Hygienist: Cleaning seemed rather hurried, manners were decent, not the most gentle (more than average gum prodding)
Hygiene time: 12
I know this doctor: 2 months
