Dr. Lynch's practice is great if you like personal attention, but are unconcerned with your surroundings. There is no dental hygienist, which is not a bad thing because an actual dentist is cleaning your teeth and gums. She is:
Gentle: She reassured me that my teeth were in good shape even though I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year.
Well-trained: She noticed a lesion over one of my teeth in the x-rays, and advised me to contact an oral surgeon. The surgeon she recommended is one of the most highly rated oral surgeons on this website, in addition to being quite personable.
It's obvious that Dr. Lynch is concerned with keeping costs down as she only has an assistant, and her technology is fairly dated. You have to sit up to rinse water from a cup and spit it out in a sink (there is no automatic water hose and suction). The waiting room is fairly small, although it's normally not crowded. Dr. Lynch and her assistant are very polite and will take your mind off the stresses of the typical dentist appointment. All in all, you compromise technology for personal attention and cost, a compromise you may or may not be willing to make.
