I would have been a new patient for Dr. Sabato. I was treated, x-rayed and referred out. I came in in extreme pain, treatment indicated root canal or extraction. Throughout I was disoriented due to pain. I was given rx for pain medication which unfortunately I lost on the way to or in the drugstore! I had to give up searching. I called the office for help. From here on I was treated as if I were a criminal. I was told the Dr was adamant in refusing to help me with any medication at all. I was facing a wait of several days before I could get in to see the Oral Surgeon. I hesitated in making the appointment with Dr. Sabato's referral--out of network, hoping to get in somewhere quicker. I was told that Dr. Sabato had contacted the referral and told I had not yet made the appointment. Based on this I was made to feel like a liar and an out and out criminal, and was completely denied any help. I was nearly beside myself in pain and belittlement. Just on moral principles I rate the entire experience very poor, although the intake receptionist was as helpful as possible. No thanks!
