I went in to Dr. Domoney's office as a first time patient and was very impressed with the atmosphere and the free pedicure. But I was not impressed with the dire diagnosis for my mouth. I was told that I had high blood pressure, puffy gums (could you be pregnant?), 5 cavities, and periodontal disease. I was asked 3 times if I sip on cokes all day which I maybe have one coke every 3 days which is not excessive! I was shocked. I had been to the dentist 5 months before and received a clean bill of health. They didn't even clean my teeth, because they told me I had to have a root planing and scaling appt, but not to google it because it might freak me out. Well I was freaked out enough to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion told me that I did NOT have periodontal disease. I had one tooth that they were going to watch that it didn't get gingivitis. And I had 1 cavity, not 5! He also told me that if they had drilled for 5 cavities, it would have permantly messed up my enamel. I do not recommend this dentist.
