In North Carolina I had 10 old crowns removed and replaced. The white gold on the back of them made my gums gray and red. They looked like horse teeth. I had 8 crowns on top (all the front) and 2 on the bottom front. The dentist in NC said that my front tooth and my bottom tooth that had root canals had to have white gold put inside the new crowns for reinforcement. Most people are allergic to the metal (I was) so both teeth looked gray and my gums were red and swollen. They looked horrible.I moved back to OR and went to Dr. Kumar and he said they don't use metal any longer in crowns. And the crowns the NC dentist made were imprints of my old crowns and were too big for my mouth. He sent me to the lab with a picture of me when I was a little girl so they could see my real teeth and the prior crowns. The lab did a fantastic job. They looked like real teeth, not thick denture looking crowns. He had to redo the top 6 so they would match since they were my very front teeth and the 1 bottom tooth. When I was in grade school someone was chasing me and a teacher opened a door and I ran into it breaking all my front teeth off. I was teased at school for years and called ugly/yellow teeth. Finally I have beautiful teeth.Thank you Dr. K

About Front Desk: The front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They make going to the dentist fun! I have known them for years so it's always fun to catch up with them. I think that it is important to have personable employees at the front desk. I have walked out of businesses because the receptionists were snotty, rude and not helpful at all.

About Hygienist: I forget her name, but she has been there the longest. One of the best Hygienist's I have ever had. She does a very thorough job. She is always gentle and explains everything. Shes just wonderful!!!
