Dr. Scheffel is excellent at explaining everything and then some about treatment, but for us geeky types, it is a good thing. All you left brain linear thinkers will love him! He explains what your options are, and allows you to pick what choice you feel works best for your budget, but he will also steer you in the right direction if some vanity fantasy just "ain't gonna work." :) and the "whys" about it, and give it to you straight. He's beyond ethical and won't hi-jack your wallet performing treatment destined to fail. He does not always tell me what I want to hear, but he's never been wrong yet. He's the fifth dentist and best I have ever had. He has redone crown and bridge work that other money grubbers did in their own best interests, not mine. I have referred several friends who are extremely satisfied. He is approachable, and best of all truly cares. He is occasionally behind, but will always go the extra mile for you, too, if there is an emergency. Best appointment time? 0630! The rest of the office and staff are equally competent.
